RADICAL CARE IN THE PANDEMIC (2020)

Panel (Online)

I took part in Radical Care in the Pandemic with Contakt Collective, a group of Goldsmiths postgraduate researchers exploring power, care, spatiality, and visual culture. The panel explored how care can function as a radical and political act, particularly in a moment defined by crisis and systemic neglect. During a live zoom panel we considered care as a tool for resistance, community building, and resilience. The panel examined how the meaning and practice of care has been transformed by the pandemic, highlighting its political and radical potential to challenge systems of oppression and foster collective wellbeing.
